REMINDER! ALL SKATING PERMISSION SLIPS DUE FRIDAY!!!!!! (12/13)The unit will start January 13, but the permission slip is due Friday, December 13. We need to get the skates ordered as soon as possible. We will get all of the students' shoe sizes in PE class. All information regarding this unit can be found on the permission slip. This past Monday, some students from Randall learned what it takes and means to be a leader in Middle School. The event was led by Dr. Ted Neitzke. Thanks to Mrs. Moehling for organizing not just for Randall students, but for organizing the entire event!

Front Page! How exciting for our teacher Ms. Massarelli and our 8th grade students. Randall started a leadership class this fall for 8th grade students and part of the course is the Gallup Student Strengths Finder. Helping students know and understand their unique talents!

Last week 7th and 8th graders were hired by "N.A.S.A." and worked to create plans for a Mission to Mars! Students had to work together to design a mission patch, create their colony proposal, determine what technology they would need on Mars, create the blueprint of their colony, design their colony's flag, and create advertisements to convince others to join them!

This week it is my pleasure to celebrate Joan Guzman and her work with our students preparing for the Veterans Day Assembly. Specifically, I'd like to highlight the solo performance by Liam . With the help of Joan's encouragement (and Liam's singing talent) Liam was able to perform in front of our entire school and over 100 veterans and guests! This week we celebrate Wendy Hebron and her posted learning target with success criteria for her MakerSpace lessons. The "I can" language is not only accessible to her learners, but it also describes the learning expectations (what success looks like). See attached and enjoy!

Sometimes we all need a little push!
Mr. Perry, Mr. Sanchez, Ms. Dahms, and Mrs. Sproul all helped to push a car with a dead battery out of the pickup line and kept things moving smoothly!
Today Randall's Admin Team took a pie to the face as a 'Thank You' to all the families that donated for the Stuff the Bus event!

This week it is my pleasure to celebrate Sam Goggin! Specifically, Sam has taken her work with learning targets to a different and outstanding level. She has not only written and displayed them in student friendly (accessible) language, but she also has individualized them for each of her students! Whoa...my mind was blown 🤯 when I was doing an observation in her classroom and noticed them on the front whiteboard (see attached). Piper happened to be in the room so she gladly 'volunteered' to be part of the other attached picture. (-:
2024 Stuff the Bus totals are in! 9,611 pounds of food was donated for the The Sharing Center! Amazing and thank you!
The Board Meeting for Wednesday will be at 5:30pm in the new conference room in the main office. When Board of Education meetings have staff presenting the time will be moved to 5:30pm.
