🌟 Exciting day at UW Madison Science Immersion! 🏛️
Our students got a taste of the college experience, visiting the planetarium and diving into hands-on science by learning how to make cheese using chymosin and micro-pipettes! 🧀🔬
We explored the campus with a fantastic tour of labs, classrooms, and the greenhouse. And of course, no visit is complete without indulging in delicious Babcock Ice Cream and snapping a picture in front of Moo Rah Rah! 🍦🐄
A huge thank you to UW Madison and the Southern Lakes Advanced Learners Network for hosting us today! 💙

Please be informed that Randall will be closed on Wednesday, February 12, due to a Weather Warning/Advisory. While we may experience limited snowfall in the morning, there is concern that snow accumulation will significantly increase by midday and into the afternoon.
The decision to close the facility is made by our local district administrators based on the information we receive. Our priority is to ensure the safety of our students and staff when there is potential for hazardous weather conditions.

For Randall 6th-8th Grade Students!

**Winter Weather Update 2025**
January 19, 2025
Dear Randall School Community,
As we progress through the winter season and anticipate colder weather, we would like to provide some reminders regarding how Randall, along with many local school districts, determines whether to keep schools open or to close due to adverse weather conditions.
Whenever possible, we aim to make decisions about school closures the day before inclement weather is expected. However, given Wisconsin's unpredictable weather patterns, this is not always feasible. Randall administrators carefully evaluate information from local weather agencies, transportation services, and our district partners to make informed decisions about the status of school operations.
Once a decision regarding school closure is made, we will communicate this information promptly. Please check your email, text notifications (if opted in), our social media channels, our website, and local news outlets for updates. Our goal is to ensure that you are informed as quickly as possible.
Wishing you a pleasant and sunny Sunday.
Sincerely,
Randall Administration
