Dr. LaFleur doing Dr. LaFleur things on a Friday!

Today Kindergarten and 2nd Grade spent the morning reading with one another! What a great way to start a Friday and to end an amazing week!

While it is a gloomy Friday the 13th outside - it sure isn't inside!

Just an early FYI...
Stuff the Bus 2.0 vs Wheatland School starts November 1st and will run through November 17th. All donated items will go to the Sharing Center again this year.
Please do not drop off items prior to November 1st, but if you are able feel free to start stacking up!

Referendum Update (Capital)
While there has not been much change on the outside yet, there has been a lot of planning and design work taking place since many of our community members supported the upcoming capital projects for Randall Consolidated. We are anticipating a groundbreaking celebration between November 28-30th, more details to come.
We would like to share the most recent renderings of our new school sign and the update to our front office space. Both projects are planned to be completed prior to the start of the 2024-2025 school year!

Students made 3D donuts out of plaster and 'decorated' them with paint and real sprinkles! Thanks for sharing Mrs. Wiswell and maybe a donut is on the menu for dinner?!?

Grades 3, 4 and 5 collaborated to color this mural for the library! Thanks students and Mrs. Fliess for adding to our library space!

TOGETHER WE CAN!

Student Council has launched their Wildcat Wednesday schedule for the 2023-2024 school year. Items range from $1.00 - $1.50. Primary grades will student council members coming down at 7:55am. 5th - 8th grade will have carts supported by student council in each hallway from 7:40-7:55am.

Project Randall
The Project Randall kids are testing their prototype houses for heat efficiency. They are using a digital thermometer and thermal cameras to identify areas of heat loss in their houses. They will then hypothesize what can be done to their houses to make them more energy efficient, then, make those modifications, and retest.

Have you checked out the Randall 'Great' Pumpkin Patch? In the spring of 2023 4K students grew pumpkin seeds and out own Mr. Merfeld planted them. The pumpkins have outgrown any expectations!

Wisconsin School Board Week - October 1st-7th!
Randall Consolidated students and greater school community benefit from the leadership and vision of our school board. Randall's Board members devote hours of time each week, month, and year to provide leadership for our district.
We would like to give a special THANK YOU - to Mary, Rich, Steven, Randy, and Jeffrey!

Even with some rain, what a way to start the week at Randall!

Last evening Randall hosted one of two possible evenings to connect with teachers, learn about the goals for the year, and continue to partner in Empowering Excellence. Thank you to the parents/guardians and staff that made last evening possible.

Attendance LIMBO! How low can you go?
Mrs. Byers was the first class to receive the perfect attendance limbo award. Time in class with amazing teachers is so valuable. And...how lucky are we to have these two as our Deans supporting students?

Last week 3rd grade held a Book Tasting event to sample various books within fictional genres. Looks like our 3rd grade had a book feast!
